Dahnark
It is still broken... When I mute the microphone with the button and then I unmuted it, the sidetone is disabled... Can you fix this?
Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted March 16, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 16, 2018 Is the mic boom in the up position when you try this? If so, sidetone will remain disabled.
KoelDoet
Same here, continuesly losing the sidetone when disabling/enabling the mic. Long pressing the mic-button several times does sometimes work. But often it results in a disabled mic (red light/othe party cant hear me) though having a side tone at the same time. Or vice versa Did a full uninstall, delete saved files and installed it. No good. Latest version also disables the thumb buttons on the mouse @ random. I've uninstalled the fancy version and rolled back to a working version (2.16.87). turminalillness
This bug still exists in 2.24.50. When the mic is disabled sidetone is also independently disabled. Previously, if sidetone was enabled you could mute the mic & when you unmuted the mic sidetone would automatically re-enable. Now if sidetone is enabled & you mute the mic, when you unmute you must also re-enable sidetone manually. Corsair, it's super annoying. Additionally, since you must now independently fiddle with the sidetone, you can wind up in a state where the mic is muted but sidetone is still on & you just hear yourself breathing.
