I'd like to extend a BIG thanks to Kovoet for starting this thread. I've made it THE official 540 build thread. Keep it going. Spread the word, we enjoy seeing end user feedback like this.

My 540 rig consist of:
I7-4930
Asus P9x79 M/b
32 gig Dominator Platinum memory
Evga 780 gpu
doing a custom water loop on this[sorry corsair my other 3 builds love your coolers]
ive had these parts for weeks just sitting and waiting but gonna finish ordering my WC parts tomorrow---WOOHOO

Don't forget to get the VRM block for p9x79 board. I had that board with 3930K and vrm overheating causes a lot of cpu throttling while stress testing.

The metallic paint on the fan trim rings is definitely a nice touch. Goes well with the wiring color combo. Nicely done.

Looks like you have a couple 100 watt bulbs in that rig. North star is a good name for it . Looks good with the white keyboard tho.
