karlos103
Hi all I have just fitted my H110i GTX cooler to me Asus 170 deluxe motherboard. I have connected the sata cable , I have connect the cpu pump/fan wire to the pump connector on motherboard and activate it as dc not pwm in bios. I have the 2 fans on cooler going to the motherboard cpu fan connectors . Corsair link says the the cooler pump is running at 2880rpm , and the fans at 0rpm flashing red which I would guess as not connected to the fan controller on the cooler itself. Is this ok to do this for starters as the asus motherboard has good software for fan control. Also I cannot alter from performance to quit mode on pump ...does nothing and also cannot change colour of LED on pump. Any help most appreciated Karl
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted November 16, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 16, 2015 The CPU fans flashing 0 is because the fans are connected to the motherboard, yes. That connection shouldn't be DC or PWM, it should be disabled entirely. As for the performance or quiet mode on the pump and the issue with changing LED colors...these are being detected in the software okay? It's just that changing them doesn't do anything?
