ntsarb Posted September 18, 2018 Share Posted September 18, 2018 Hi, I'm very disappointed to find out that the Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) does not work on Gigabyte's GA-G41M-Combo motherboard. As soon as the computer is started up, it produces a sequence of short beeps and reboots without showing anything on screen. The PC was previously equipped with 2x2GB DDR2 modules but one of them got faulty. Is there a BIOS setting that can resolve this issue, or is this a hardware incompatibility that can't be mitigated from firmware? Thank you.
