cqlossus
I built my PC not too long ago, and I've had just the stock fan for the Corsair H60 pulling air from the case, behind the radiator. I installed another fan that also pulled from the case, but blowing into the radiator. I did a CPU Temp. before and after installing, and there wasn't the slightest improvement in the Temperature. Why? Please help! My temperature by its self is good, but I would like it a bit cooler.
Synthohol
at idle the temps will be as close to ambient as they can. where the H series coolers shine and perform is when the CPU is under load, so a push-pull arrangement will knock off a few degrees. even on the custom loop i just built at idle i have 26c and 57c stressing all 8 cores @ 5.3G but when i throw 3 more fans on top of my triple rad it shaves 4-5c off. the H series should do the same if your ambient temps are not too warm. wytnyt
your probably getting your best temps with the cooler if after adding another fan didnt improve the temps..
