hellkatt Posted January 1, 2019 Share Posted January 1, 2019 I recently upgraded to a 2080ti and needed a higher end psu. I went with a corsair rm850x. When I installed it there were bad sata power cables which burnt out my storage drives, so I lost alot of data. When you spend 130 bucks on a psu one would figure it would come with good cables. I spent 2 weeks down figuring my motherboard was toast. Fortunately I watched a video by jayztwocents where he had the same issue and I believe with the same psu, and I redid my troubleshooting and found the issue to be bad cable and burnt up storage drive.
