Garyp
I am starting to get higher temps in my H110i GT. I know the ambient temperature is up this summer but it has jumped up 20 degrees more than it used to whilst light gaming to 75-80 degrees and when I coded a video file it was hitting 95 degrees. Even turning all the fans on full only dropped the respective temps by about 2-3 degrees. I have a 5820k with an MSI Titanium x99a mobo. It has been running the same overclock for the last 18 months. By turning off the overclock temps have dropped back around 5 degrees at idle but pretty much the same whe under load. How long is the warranty on the cooler ? DevBiker
Five years, IIRC. These seem like CPU temps. What are your coolant temps? Perhaps time to repaste?
Garyp
Cleaned out rad full of dust. Repasted as I took it out to clean and temps dropped 15 degrees !
Corsair Employee Corsair Lettuce Posted August 7, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 7, 2018 That's good to hear, as Devbiker mentioned pay attention to the pump temps if you start to see temps rising again. The ideal coolant range is anywhere between 30C - 55C.
