Corsair VOID 7.1 RGB USB crackling noise

I bought this headset a year or so and it seems like this problem will never get fixed. Not only whatever material around the cable seems to be really weak – unrelated to the topic but anyway –, there's also this annoying crackling noise.

It seems to be random, and probably related to bad drivers. I try to reinstall the drivers and everything but the problem persists. Sometimes there's a driver update and it seems to be fixed.

The last driver, for example, fixed the issue. Now with the new driver I have the same problem again. Tried a clean reinstall and nothing.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I can confirm I have both of your listed issues as well. First of all, the cable material definitely isn't very strong and durable. After about a year or so, mine got to the point where I had to get a new one because it started twisting and getting ripped apart. As for the crackling issue, there is a known problem with the Corsair audio drivers which causes static and crackling noises from the headset. I'm not sure if this is the exact same problem that you're having, but it does sound similar. Here are some similar threads:

I have tried contacting Corsair regarding this issue but they weren't very helpful at all and basically told me that they would pass it on to the bug team but that it probably wouldn't go very far.
