jzv
Hi first time poster here. I have a minor issue with the Force 3 120 GB. Its not one of the old faulty drives i ckecked. The issue is it will hang in the bios for 5-10 seconds after the bios screen before the windows logo with a little blinking dash. It kinda annoyed me and i figured out the workaround for it is to enable the Hot Swapping for the hard drive in the bios. It fixes it and runs great. I dont know if its the mainboard's sata 3 controller ( Asus Sabertooth p67 rev3). Or the drive just thought i would post it here if somebody else got the same issue and did not know the cure. Manaz
The newer drives are apparently having issues as well - 1123 and 1124 drives are both experiencing the BSODs, freezes, refusal to be recognised without a cold boot, etc. I've tried my drive (an 1124) in IDE, AHCI and RAID modes (AHCI is the mode which allows hot-swapping) all to no avail - it's great that this seems to have resolved the issue for you though.
