DxTrEm3Fx
Stupid question. But can this SSD be used as your C:Drive for the OS?
Corsair Employee Corsair Rick Posted August 31, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 31, 2018 Stupid question. But can this SSD be used as your C:Drive for the OS? Hello DxTrEm3Fx It can, but it would require Windows 10 (native NVMe drivers) and a chipset that is compatible with PCI-e NVMe drives by default. Unfortunately older platforms such as Z87/Z97 require workarounds, but it is still possible.
DxTrEm3Fx
Thank you for the response. I have an ASRock z87 extreme9/ac MB. So I think I'll just go with another SSD drive. My Corsair Neutron GTX 480 GB is running out of life. And I'm going from W7 to W10. http://dxfxhouse.com/images/Cdrive.png

It doesn't read in my Asus P9x79 so can't use as a c drive. Is there a work around?
