er1
Hi guys, I was just wondering if the Australian version of the AX1600i is C14 or C19 power plug? I see C19 in the reviews but I have also heard that corsair retooled the PSUs to C14 for australia. Even on the corsair website it is C14 now https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Power/Plug-Type/axi-series-config/p/CP-9020087-NA It would make sense for it to be C14 since Australia runs on 230V and on that voltage the PSU will never draw more than like 7amps. Can someone from corsair or someone who owns an australian unit confirm for me? If its C19 i don't have a power point that fits and I can't buy it =/
er1
So I have the unit in my hand. For future reference the Australian unit is indeed C14 10 amp socket. It is rated only for 200-240V input so it must be an model retooled specifically for this region.
Vegan
All Corsair power supplies that I have can use 115V or 230V with a swap of the power cable, which is all that is needed. For a 1600W unit, 10A at 230V should be enough to cope with maximum load
