Metaformed Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Hello, this is my first PC and I had a question about the standoffs in the 200r which I purchased. One of my standoffs had a piece of metal in it that I was unsure about removing. See it here: http://imgur.com/1tGdjwe (the empty space in above that is for my cpu cooler i haven't put on yet.) LangZone Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 That pin is there to center the motherboard and make screwing the other standoff's down easier. It should line up with the center hole in the motherboard and roughly hold it in place. Corsair has done this with a few other cases as well (my 750D also has one).
