Default Survivor CMFSS3-32GB data transfer

I have a new drive and transferring 13 GB on this new drive. It is estimating 5 hours to accomplish this. I am using Windows 7 64 Bit 8 gig of Ram and the USB Drive is in a USB 3.0 port.. I did see the message to re-format and I used the utility SDFormat. Is this a reasonable time to transfer this data?

transferring 13 GB
It really depends on the data, if its a lot of small files then it may very well take that long, but normally the estimated time and the time it actually takes is not the same.
I would try it on another system and test it and actually see how long it takes

Try using eSata storage devices when moving around a lot of small stuff. USB is kinda fun, universal, but eSata is much faster.
