absolute_zero
i have an h50, not yet operating (still waiting on some other parts)--but as i'm fitting up where and how the radiator will be installed in my case i can hear quite a bit of "sloshing" inside both the radiator and pump. this troubles me...as i can only assume that means there's tons of air in my unit...and that it won't be good for temps. anyone else notice this? what to do? i guess my question is how much air is too much? Synthohol
it is virtually impossible to have a sealed WC system with no reservoir and not have some air. users whom have noticed this have installed the rad with the tubes facing down (in a vertical mounting) so any air will get trapped at the top of the rad and not cause internal foaming or poor performance due to lack of water flow. MarEngineer
I have my H50 mounted with the radiator tubes facing up in an 800D case. For a couple of days I had the same problem, air in my pump causing cavitation. Try "flicking" the hoses gently and the air should come out. Give it a day or two for things to settle out. My i7-860 at stock speed stays a constant 23 C. The H50 works great.
