SajuukCor
Thought to try out iCUE v3.1.131 today. Installation went smooth and it imported my old CUE settings. After playing around with it some I tried to open a program on one of my SSDs and it said it was missing. Shortly later I found that my Z: drive was removed from my computer. Couldn't even see it in the Disk Management panel. Checked Event Viewer and found a bunch of Disk warnings, Event ID 51: "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk3\DR3 during a paging operation." Fearing my SSD died I checked for the first Disk error, which was Event 157: "Disk 3 has been surprise removed." I put two and two together and found the error occurred exactly the same time I installed iCUE. Once iCUE was uninstalled and the system rebooted everything is fine now. Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted March 27, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 27, 2018 Hi SajuukCore, can you email me the logs from CUE and also provide me with the Event Viewer Logs? I'd like to analyze the issue. Also, which directory did you install iCUE in? Was it C:\?
SajuukCor
Trying to find the iCUE logs. I only see the CUE 2.x logs. Would they have been removed when I uninstalled iCUE? I have the Event Viewer logs ready.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted March 28, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 28, 2018 Check your %appdata% folder -> Local and see if theyre still there. Otherwise you can send me your Event Viewer files.
SajuukCor
Unfortunately it doesn't seem the 3.x logs are there, only the 2.x logs from the reinstall :( I don't see an email address for you, at least one obvious to me lol. If you can PM me the email address that would be great and I can send over everything to get to the bottom of this bug :)
