Sti4N
i think my read/wrtie speed is a bit slow... it doesn't get up to what it was advartised for.. the SSD is connected with a SATA3.. ACHI Enabled.. someone know how to improve some speeds? ImagesHack-SSDSPEED
ssd_noob
Yor SSD is connected to the Marvell SATA3 port which runs on pci-e x1. This means you can't get full SATA3 speed on the Marvell port. If you want to see full speeds you need a native Intel or AMD SATA3 port.
Sti4N
OK. Thanks i will try to connect my SSD to native intel port :) will post how that goes :P
ssd_noob
Your native Intel ports are SATA2 only. Edit: Only the Intel H67, P67, Z68 chipsets have native SATA3 ports.

scorpionri
There aren't any LGA1366 mobos that have SATA 3.0 support via an Intel chipset. You would need to change the mobo and the CPU.
