Lian Li PC-05S Mini-ITX ROG Build

Recommended Posts

I have always been a Lian Li fan so i decided it was time to move on to one of there unique offerings. I have owned a lot of cases the past few years as well as dropping down in motherboard size from full atx all the way down to mini.

Case History -

Antec 1200

Corsair 800D

Corsair C70

Coolermaster haf XB

Corsair Air 540

Silverstone FT03

Caselabs S5

Silverstone RVZ02

As you can see i have experience with many cases on the market and i hope this case will suffice for several years to come. The purpose behind this build was for Gaming/Multitasking with the best components from my favorite company's. I hope this gives more people inspiration to drop down to small cases such as this as they do come with challenges.

I too liked having a small case with the challenge of carefully packing everything inside but eventually decided to go with a larger case ,going with a air 540 to customize.

Well with 2 aquaeros,a Mini commander,2 lighting nodes,10 fans and a full custom loop,Im back to where I started with having to pack it all in....again

Nice parts going in your build,do keep us posted...

You will like the 540 it's a sweet case, when you get a chance link me to your build thread as well. LoL I won't lie I do think some times I should have stuck with the S5 and went full water but as of right now I am content.

Corsair H100i GTX Installed. The tubing is stiff so it took some pressure to tuck them in upon installing the glass but everything turned out okay. Temps are great at all levels of load so i couldn't be happier with going this route. Only problem is i only have 1 USB 3.0 port on this mobo so if i want to make any adjustment using corsair link i will have to use an adapter to make changes. I will most likely just run the fans off he mobo header and control them through ai suite anyway.
