Wereman
Update: My apologies. I'm stupid and didn't reboot after firmware update. After rebooting, the firmware correctly shows M311. :o: Toolbox says the latest version available is M311, while the drive's current one is M306. The update completes without a hitch, but the firmware version stays M306. Tried several times - same result. This is a brand new and empty drive. After the first apparent failure to update, I thought the drive needed initialization, so I Secure-Wiped it with Toolbox, initialized it through Windows' own Disk Management, quick-formatted it to NTFS and assigned it a letter. Still the same result after each procedure. http://i.imgur.com/7tzhfXM.gif http://i.imgur.com/Waq4NBd.gif http://i.imgur.com/WbQnMPO.gif

We'll be adding a prompt to have users power their machine off and restart. Sorry you had an issue and we'll get it fixed.
