zambosky
Greeting to everyone. My Mb is a Asus P6X58D-E and has 6 Sata-II channels. 4 are set as a Raid 0+1 array ( 4 hdd, 2 striped in raid 0 and then mirrored with others 2 raid 0) 1 optical blue ray 1 Corsair accelerator SSD Of course in the bios I set raid for the controller, but Accelerator and Blu Ray are not part of the array and they work in AHCI aren't they? My system is based on Intel chipset X58 and Os Is Windows 7 X64. My questions: - How could I update the firmware for my Accelerator 60 ? (because in instruction it is said that the controller must be set as NON raid .. but my system is raid 0+1 and Corsair accelerator caches this boot array ) And - what is the right file to dowload ? Best regards and thank you in advance ! Sergio, Italy

Best regards and thank you in advance ! Sergio, Italy Update : I tried to update the firmware ( 5.03 ) and.. Surprise : it worked ! Even if I have my raid set to raid 10 Even if ran in windows 7 X64 regular, not from usb or iso or safety mode Even if Corsair Accelerator is in sata slot 6 (1 to 4 raid hdd and 5 ODD ) I waited and used my pc more than a month to be sure no problems arise.. So: many of the advices given for updates are quite old, my opinion.. Regards, Sergio
