I am planning to buy a pc with a msi k8t neo-fis2r mainbord and 2x CMX512-3200LL 512MB ram modules. i have written some forms and i see a lot of problems with the k8t neo fis2r and ram modules. Is it possible to to this after you have installed windows because than is it easier to do. I have never flashed my bios outside windows. I am afraid that im doing it wrong or the file is corrupt. W00D Posted February 17, 2004 Share Posted February 17, 2004 to be safe use one stick to install and set it at conservative ( by which i mean safer or slower settings then flash in Windows and then upgrade the mem you could try with both sticks in I did what ramguy stated as for settings with 2 sticks of 512 then installed xp and then flashed.
