H100i v2 not showing up in device manager or corsiar link (all versions)

Hello I did an upgrade from an i7-4770k to i7-8700k everything is the same except mobo(asrock z370 killer), ram (Corsair lpx 3000mhz 16gb) and cpu. everything was in working order prior to the changing of those three parts but after the new parts the h100i v2 isn't being detected on my computer new parts came in a couple of days ago put it together and ive been researching this for the past days. The 3 pin cable is connected to cpu fan 1 and the corsair link cable is connected to Usb_1_2. Not really sure what else to do.
