derpingtimmy92
Hey guys! I got a question about compatibility of the cables, especially the GPU cable, between the SF-750 and the CX650m. I know there is a sticky post already but please hear me out :) I know there is a compatibility list but this is where my confusion starts. I am in need to use the flat cables of the CX650m in my mini-itx case due to space limitations. The SF750 came with braided cables which are nice but unfortunately too thick. This list states it should be compatible. The compatibility list from the sticky thread http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=167958 This one is different than the one posted in the sticky threads. I found it on the corsair support page and it doesn't seem to be compatible? https://support.corsair.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/78/kw/cable What do you guys think, are these cables compatible and safe to use between one another? Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted April 24, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 24, 2019 The SF750 uses Type 4 cables where as the CX650m uses Type 3. The PCIe cable from your CX650m will work with the SF750 though as the pinout is the same for the PCIe cable.
