Nezakhan
From my post on overclock.net Last week my system started to beep. Programs started to chug. Gaming especially. Couldn't figure out what the problem was. I updated every driver I could, even Corsair Link software. Checked and found my CPU temps were up in the 90's, not overclocked, and idle. The CPU cooler (Corsair H100i GTX v2) felt and sounded like it was working. I continued to find out why and suspected there was some bonkers voltage thing happening. Felt like I had exhausted all options I could find I started tapping the hoses, thinking it was a silly idea. I glanced over at my temps on the display and they started dropping, a lot! From 90's they settled mid 30's. From time to time it creeps up to 50's idle, and I have to tap it again to get the temps to drop. The CPU cooler is about a year and a half old. I dunno what to do. I've checked around. I don't think this is a common issue. Please advise.
c-attack
It appears you may have a partial blockage developing within the cooling system. This is not something that will get better on its own and you need to replace the unit. Contact Corsair Tech support to start the RMA process.
