AndyD
I'm not really seeing any settings in the app that will help with this but it's driving me a bit insane because of how frequent this occurs. Any action even browsing the web causes the temps to jump to 40 where the threshold for the fan control seems be 40 as well to kick up the fans. The temp quickly drops so I'm constantly hearing the fans rev up to 2000 and back down again. Anyone know how to address the issue?
red-ray
Change the group from the CPU to the H100iV2 coolant temperature.
AndyD
Sorry, I can't seem to find any way to do that in the app. I tried it on Home section... 1) I see one fan listed under "H100i v2" which is at 0rpm. I can switch groups for that 2) The two Corsair fans are listed under the motherboard section (assuming they are the ones near 2000rpm) - if I click on them, there isn't a drop down box to select a group
red-ray
It would be easier to help if you used http://forum.corsair.com/forums/profile.php?do=extra Are the H100iV2 fans connected to the H100iV2 or the motherboard? If the MB why? CL4 can't control MB fans so I advise you to connect them to the H100iV2. What is the H100iV2 pump speed? Post the CL4 [Home] tab screen shot. Click on the H100iV2 fan and post the config panel See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=853900 for how to attach a file/screen image to a post. AndyD
Your second point reminded me that I had connected the fans to the motherboard instead of the CPU connectors. I just switched it out and it seems to be ok now in terms of fan control. Temps are still fluctuating but it's been a while since I actually monitored my temps so could be normal behavior
