TomGu
Using many Corsair components (case, power supply, memory, cooler), I built a Haswell based PC in June, 2015. During the past month or so, I noticed the system fans seemed to be ramping up occasionally which was not unusual as summer is approaching here in Georgia and summertime temps in this room can get warm. RealTemp was indicating core temps in the high 40's to low 50's at idle (around 40 was normal). Tried a Malwarebytes scan and an Eset scan to see if the temps would rise and they did by approximately ten degrees during the scans. Suspected the H110i pump had quit so I hooked up the Core Link cable to the CPU then downloaded and installed the Core Link software. The temps in Core Link corresponded to those in RealTemp though the Core Link software indicated the H110i pump was turning (about 2300 rpm). Elected to clean/replace the CPU thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5), with Noctua NT-H1, apparently did not use enough and the temps were higher than before the thermal compound replacement. I was perplexed at this point and could only suspect the overclock (4.5MhZ @ 1.222V) as being responsible for the heat issues. However, the system had been vetted when built with this overclock configuration including Prime 95 for 24 hours with zero errors and had run for nearly two years with no heat problems. The UEFI for my Asus Z97 Pro motherboard would not save my overclock configuration which removed the option to "load setup defaults" and try the system without the overclock (unless I wanted to record and re-enter all of the overclock settings which I did not wish to do). Ordered an NH-D15, received / installed it yesterday, and the the system core temps at idle (overclock still enabled), are now in the mid to low 30's rising only a couple of degrees during the aforementioned scans. I have previously had excellent results with Corsair products but this experience is causing me to re-think my choices. For sure, do not rely on the Core Link software to tell if your cooler pump is working - it could be misleading.
red-ray
What is the H110GT coolant temperature? Post the CL4 [Home] tab screen shot. I suspect you should use http://forum.corsair.com/forums/profile.php?do=extra to update your PC specs.
TomGu
PC specs updated. Do not have the CL4 [Home] tab screen shot as the H110i GT has been uninstalled.
