CMC_SAVAGE
A percentage of "problem" posts on this forum are simply due to the purchase of of the "wrong" memory for a particular MOBO or MOBO/CPU combination. The answer to "What kind?" or "The best?" memory for a (brand/model) motherboard is only a few mouse clicks away. Most MOBO manufacturers have a QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for memory for a particular board. Although some may not list a the particular Corsair model you may want to use, this does not mean it won't work. This is when you should check the Corsair's Compatibility Lab. Here you can find a PDF guide that will match the "correct" module for your MOBO, chipset and usage. There is also the Corsair's memory homepage where you can find individual PDF's on a particular model. With that said, buying the "right" memory really isn't that difficult, getting it configured properly, well that's another issue and that's where the forums come in.
