Default iCUE v3.2.87 and Corsair Dark Core RGB

I'm using the latest release of iCUE (3.2.87) and own a Corsair Dark Core RGB mouse (not the SE version). I'm having an issue where the mouse LEDs will NOT turn off when my PC is asleep! Currently I use the mouse wired (so it's always plugged in). My Corsair K95 Platinum keyboard and ST-100 headset stand turn off when I put my PC to sleep. But my Dark Core RGB mouse goes into cycling all the colors when the PC is asleep and it lights up the room at night. It's impossible to pick the mouse up to shut if off after the PC is asleep since it wakes it right back up again.

Anyone else having this issue? I understand the mouse is "charging" while plugged in, but I would like to see new functionality in iCUE or the Dark Core RGB firmware that will turn OFF the LEDs when the PC is asleep. The same issue for the Corsair Void Pro wireless headset if left on.

Kind Regards,
Nelson

I believe this is also an issue in CUE 2 and the "power off" aspect was one of the reasons I returned it. It is rather annoying to need to set a command line to sleep so you can reach under and flick the power button on your mouse first.

Default Possbile Solution

The latest iCue software has a "Power Saving" feature for the Dark Core RGB mouse. Selecting that option turns off the LEDs on the mouse. Yet the mouse will still wake up the PC when moved! Why doesn't Corsair Engineering simply apply the "power savings" mode automatically when the PC is put to sleep!? This would easily solve the issue of the LEDs not turning off when the PC is put to sleep (and the mouse is being used wired).

In "Power Saving" mode Dark Core doesn't wake up PC when moved. You need to click on the mouse button every time to get it out of sleep mode. I absolutely agree with the proposed option to apply "power saving" mode then PC is put to sleep:) This would be reflected best in battery life, because, strangely enough, it discharges just when the computer is turned off now. My old Logitech mouse can work for 2 weeks on one charge and in an indefinitely large time when the computer is turned off because it not drain battery when in sleep mode.
