uplayhard2
Thanks for the help in advance. I looking for a 1600 or 1866 Quad Channel, 8 dimms, 32gb set to go on my MB. I was told the initial memory I purchased was quad channel but upon further investigation, it wasn't. Can I just purchase 2 4X4gb sets (i.e. CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9R)? I noticed a set on one of the more popular sites, CMZ32GX3M8X1600C9, but is doesn't show up if I search for it on corsair.com? Can I buy a 16gb set now and an identical one in the next several months without compatibility issues?
Wired
Mixing memory kits is never recommended as there's no way to guarantee compatibility. CMZ32GX3M8X1600C9 does look like a valid kit. Corsair's site isn't always up to date.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 27, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 27, 2012 The only DDR3 1866 set available would be our Quad sets made for and tested on Intel X79 chipset.
