Phal
Hi folk I build a new System for my six years old gaming rig at beginning of April. I play often games, which will be supported from Nvidia PhysX like Metro Last Light or Borderlands 2/Pre-Sequel. And how I like the Borderlands-yellow, so I bought a Corsair Graphite 780T Yellow. Right. For anyone, which want to know where I bought the case, it was a review model, which wasn't reviewed. The build is more like simple. I don't overclock my system, because at the moment I don't see any purpose. No game is at the limit and anyway, I don't like water in my System. But after a Year, the cooler was to big and I must change my Memory and then I changed to a Watercooling. :headbang: So I was interested, will there different performance between Nvidias GTX285, GTX470, GTX580, GTX660 And a GTX980 as PhysX-Card in comparison with a GTX980. First to the Hardware: Case: Corsair Graphite 780T Yellow PSU: Corsair AX1200i Mainboard: MSI X99s Gaming 7 CPU: Intel I7 5930K Cooler: BeQuiet! Phal
Heya Guys If anyone wish another Benchmark with PhysX and a GTX980 or GTX 660, let it me knowing. So if anyone has a link for the Benchmark, it will be more easier. :D Tests with the GTSX 285 aren't possible. However, there were two Problems with this constellation. 1) the first GTX 980 was with 90% RPM and 90° Celsius very hot and loud. 2) SLI configuration lost after a restart the third GPU (PhysX-Card). I talked to Nvidia Bug Report-Customer Care, but to this day, there is no resolve found for this Problem. :( For the first Problem I take two 120mm Corsair Performance Fans and control them with the Corsair Graphite 780T integrated fan control. With every stage I have less 5° Celsius. So if the fans at max stage (3), so I have at gaming 75° Celsius and no noise from GPU. The performance coolers are louder, lol. But if I Play a game like WarThunder, so I can forget the sound of coolers and can concentrate for gaming. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm195/Pras4/12_leftSide_open_include120_zpsd0ljxudl.png The Fans are mounted with a Alpenföhn "Universal Fan Bracket For Your Case", it is just great. Steke
Hi, i have a question related to your "SLI Cooler" with these 2 Corsair fans. What do you use to hold the fans. Because I have cooling problems with my GTX 770 SLI. The upper card is around ~95°C and the lower has only ~60°C Thanks Steve

(German:) Es gibt auch einen von Prolimatech, aber da hatte ich Probleme mit den Stromanschlüssen, wobei ich nur einen Lüfter hätte befestigen können, weswegen ich den Alpenföhn nutze.
