superBOB
Hi I just bought a 8Go Flash Voyager stick in France. G08G NMC8C0138 08496032-0 I first ran it on Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit. The system could see it. I then installed Ubuntu 8.10 32 bit on it from a Live CD. When I boot from the stick, it stalls at this point "Starting Bluetooth usb 8-2: device descriptor read/64, error -110" and "usb 8-2: device not accepting address 2 error -110" I get similar error messages when I try to boot on a Dell that normally runs Windows XP. The stick has become invisible to Ubuntu, neither Nautilus nor Gparted can see it. Running lsusb yields nothing. When I insert it in a computer running Windows XP, the system tells me it needs to install drivers to run the usb device so I can't see the stick there either. Thanks for your help.
