Default All off on lock

Is there a way to go into a night mode or something similar when you lock the computer? Want to be able to turn all of the lighting off completely without sleeping the system.

Sounds like you get the default profile when you go to the lock screen, so I'm not overly optimistic on this one, but curious what options are out there.

Depends on the device, which you haven't listed.
For fans, strips and some mice and keyboards, you can do hardware lighting.
