I have this memory http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-16gb-4x4gb-ddr4-dram-3400mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk16gx4m4b3400c16 (CMK16GX4M4B3400C16) and I need to add 64 Gb to the rest 4 slots I have available. I was thinking about this one - http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-64gb-4x16gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk64gx4m4b3200c16 . But I'm not sure if they work together. Can someone please help?

I have X99 motherboard (ASRock X99 OC Formula).

No, you drop the exiting 16GB (4x4) sticks and replace it with the 4 x 16. Combining different kits of any type always presents some risk and most often requires a manual tweaking of individual values. However, combing two different density kits is a disaster in waiting. Make a back up system image your C: drive before even trying.

Besides, what good would the 16GB do on top the 64? Virtually no one needs that much and it would never be worth the hassle of trying to mix different size kits. On another note, while there is nothing wrong with buying a 3400 MHz kit and running it at 3200, there is very little chance of you getting a long term stable system with 64GB at 3400 on any X99. 3200 with 64GB would be great, but anything more would be fantasy. Therefore, if there is a lower speed rated kit at a measurable price drop, that would be the smarter buy.

Ok, but understand that is not guaranteed to work either. Standard manufacturer warning about mixing kits. It can sometimes be handled, but you don’t want to get into this unless you have some understanding of what to do and a generous supply of time and patience.
