Corsair Void Wireless RGB - Mic Activation Lags Steam and Steam Games

Hello.

So I have been very happy with my purchase for a while now. However, an issue has cropped up in the past few months where whenever I use push-to-talk in a Steam game, regardless of which one, the entire game lags for a bit.

I've also tested it in the Steam client itself, and it seems the client lags as well when I activate the mic test, so it's definitely Steam.

I don't have this issue with any other recording device on my laptop, including the built-in microphone.

I also did some troubleshooting with someone at r/pcmasterrace, and we have determined that the problem is not due to anything related to the network.

I'm starting to think the issue lies in something specific to the headset.

Any ideas?
