Jumballi Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Using the corsair 570x case, I have 3 fans in front plus a 4th one I added for exhaust. But I'll eventually add an aio cooler to prepare for heavy overclocking a future i7. One of my choices for cooling is probably the h100i v2 where I would place on top and use its fans for exhaust, having a in:out config of 3:3 But with the upcoming h150i, I get 3 fans which would be placed in front. But now that leaves the conundrum of optimal fan placement. I can get a dust filter for the back as well, so any suggestions are welcome. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DevBiker Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 What exactly is the conundrum? Keep in mind that you don't balance based on number of fans but on airflow. And you typically want to have more intake airflow than exhaust. Having the radiator on the front with 1 rear and 1 top exhaust or 1 rear and 2 top exhaust would be fine as long as you balance the curves appropriately.
