strafe rgb Dim LEDs and random keypresses as soon as plugged in

I just got a Strafe RGB with Brown switches and it has the weirdest problems.

 

First, some of the LEDs are extremely dim compared to others (so much so that you don't see the color come through the keycaps). Do I need to get the LEDs in the switches replaced or something?

 

Second, as soon as I plug in the keyboard I get a series of random numbers and it never stops. It's as if it's running an endless macro (but I checked CUE and there was nothing there - I even tried a firmware update while it was spamming all this, to no avail).

Any clues?

It may be best to take it back to your retailer and for a replacement as it is possible the keyboard is sort of DOA.

It was not purchased new - I'm trying to figure out what the issue is so that I might be able to fix it.

If it is a Certified Refurbished product, Corsair will still provide warranty for the item. If it was second hand, unfortunately you will not have any warranty.

 

Have you tried resetting the keyboard?

To reset the keyboard, unplug it, hold down the ESC key while plugging it back in. Do the leds look "balanced" now?
