K95 RGB Platinum Lights stay on after shutdown since firmware update

Hi, I recently updated the firmware on the K95 RGB Platinum. Since then when I shutdown my computer the lights stay on and I'm unable to turn them off using the light button or the profile switch key, both these keys work when the computer is on and the lights do go off when the Computer is in sleep mode.
