plunk42
Hello, I'm attempting to RMA an AX760 and my ticket was approved. I am now awaiting the shipping label to send it in. The instructions stated that I am to also return any included cables. I have removed the PSU from my system and began to gather all cables that were provided. However, I noticed that I am short two 8 pin PCI-E cables (I have 4 and the manual claims there are 6). I know for a fact that I have every cable provided when it was brand new because I'm paranoid when it comes to spare parts and I always hold onto anything that could be useful in the future. In addition to this, those extra two cables would have no use on the AX760 as I have exactly enough cables to fill every slot on the PSU. So I'm slightly worried that sending in the PSU two cables short may mess up the RMA process. Is this something to be worried about? Or perhaps is there a misprint in the user manual and I have all the cables provided? Maybe I was unlucky and got shorted two cables by Newegg? Thanks! Administrators Technobeard Posted August 31, 2017 Administrators Share Posted August 31, 2017 Nothing really to worry about. Just mention on the ticket what you said here and it'll be fine.
