Mystery42 Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 I wanted to know if i get the CMD8GX3M4A1333C7 8GB kit will i have to fix the voltage to run them at 7-7-7-20 on the NF980-G65. I don't want to kill the motherboard once i get it. i had the same issue with 1.8v ddr3 from corsair, your mobo should let u change the voltage in the bios, it should not have any damage on your pc as long as nothing else is oc'd. I ran the 1.8 v in 1.5 v setup fine. After a month of running the ram in 1.8 v mode, i bought new stuff, and now the min voltage on my mobo is 1.6 v (which matches most ddr3 now).
