michaelwe
Hi folks, I have a Force 3 240gb, with my macbook pro 15" late 2011 lappy. When I test the speed of the SSD, I get the maximum of 160 mb/s.. my friend's results are between 500-550mb/s. What's wrong with my settings, ssd or lappy? My speeds are the same in OSX and Win7. So I tried to upgrade the firm from 1.3.2 to 5.05A, the Toolbox cannot do anything, but it is ok, i read the thread about it, so i go for the Sandforce Update tool. The ssd is recognised, i have downloaded the proper firm for it, browsed it, signature OK and hit ok. But after a while, when it finished (green checkmark), still 1.3.2 present at FW rev. Toolbox says the same, still got the mighty 1.3.2. fw. So my questions are: These speeds are normal? Do you recommend the firmware update for me? If yes, how can i do it? Thx a lot!
