"Please reboot and select propper boot device" error - Any fixes?

Hey guys, I've recently been having issues when either installing games or rendering movie files. It's fine as long as I am moving the mouse around and not letting it go to sleep, but does it after I don't move it for a while.

I've already changed my sleep settings in Windows 7 to never sleep and to turn the monitor off after 15 minutes. I just had a wake timer set to on, but I just turned it off. It's unlikely that that was the issue, but I'll try it again.

Motherboard - Fatality P67

Graphics card - EVGA GTX 580

SSD - Force 3 240Gb

OS - Windows 7 64 bit

I was thinking about doing a firmware upgrade to see if that would fix it but the software won't even show my device listed on there. I scan for changes and it doesn't find anything.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try using a Live CD for upgrading the firmware: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=91565

Do the following steps in strictly this order:

- Upgrade to the latest Bios revision

- Upgrade SSD Firmware

- SecureErase your SSD with PartedMagic (all data is lost)

- Clear CMOS

- Do a clean install of Windows (no backup/image recovery!)

- If you are using Intel RST you should disable LPM in registry for the port your SSD is connected to.
