horrormuppet
Do I need to buy the Corsair link hardware device to control how my PSU, GPU, and CPU work? I downloaded the C-Link application but the only mode available is the default and adjusting the minimum and maximums in the configuration settings does not seem to be changing how my fans operate for the quietest sound. When I play games on my PC my GPU gets very loud and hot but my PSU fan still does nothing. I have not seen the PSU fan move once since I got it. It's concerning because I know my GPU is generating a lot of heat.
wytnyt
How are the components being controlled now?,how are your fans hooked up? Just having Link software doesn't mean it will control everything. Please explain what all you have... You at least will need Link hardware
horrormuppet
My power supply is plugged into the motherboard, my gpu is plugged into the power supply, and I have a LED fan on the side hooked into the system fan port on my motherboard. wytnyt
Ok,you'll need this along with the Link software http://www.corsair.com/en-us/corsair-commander-mini and what you want to monitor/control must be connected to this rather than the m/b..
