Cant you just use the K70 wave profile??

As a fellow K65 owner, sadly, we cannot import K70 profiles. It just resets to default settings upon import, much like trying to use a K95 profile on a K70 or vice versa from what I have read. I would kill for some more K65 profiles or for the great K70 ones to be converted.

well i would love to make k65 profiles but i have a k70. and i cant up load the lighting profiles for yall to link to the keys your self cuz for some reason cuz the fourm says their invlid files.

Hey guys ive uploaded a moded K70- profile here test it ans tell me if it works or not

No luck here, it just goes to the default red w/ white WASD and arrow keys with the imported profile.

It doesnt even say anything? Which buttons are the K65 missing compare to the K70. Im going to find those keys and delete the values for them.

It imports as Rainbow profile but everything else seems to just not import, no key groups, or anything, just a stray jumbled list of lighting effects that I can't even begin to piece together.

 

Anything after Pause Break, Page Up, Page Down and the right arrow key are not on the K65, the function/media buttons are also different and I think that might get in the way too. We have two volume buttons as opposed to a volume wheel. If they are in the profile it would probably be best to just ignore those top keys like windows lock.

Yea that might be causing an issue where it reads the groups that have those keys and gets confused as it tries to apply it on a K65. Im going to compile a new profile with oput those keys and re upload it to the page. Ill tell you when its ready shouldnt take long.

I just deselected all of the keys that arent on the K65 and all of the media keys and lock keys. and there doesnt seem to be a value for them in the profile

No luck :( I think it might be down to something we can't change like a model check in the program itself when it reads profiles. I really appreciate you trying; I think the best we can hope for is some better compatibility built into the software or more K65 owners. I guess i'll have to look into learning to make my own profiles :P

Well there was a model check and i changed the code for that. If you upload a K65 file ill just take the front part and replace it on the K75 file. There are parts that seem to be generated based on a K65 and i cant get that since im on a K70

zheren159, here is a K65 profile with all keys lit, sorry I was not able to clear the actions and lighting, to be honest that is a bit above my knowledge on this software so far. Original credit for the profile goes to Craseder.

You are very wrong. All you have to do is change 4 letters in notepad on any profile and it will work flawlessly on the K65. Open any .prf search for "K70", change it to CGK65, save and you're done. Works great.

lol kind of late to the party and that was before i figured out and shared how to convert the profiles.
