cplifj Posted April 15, 2019 Share Posted April 15, 2019 So, one of my DDR 3 dom platinum sticks from a dual kit has developed a hardware error. Took me a while to find this culprit. it's a CMD16GX3M2A1600C9 kit , Two 8 GB sticks in kit DDR3 serial numbers are 082110 and 082109. It is the 082109 stick that is failing. cplifj Posted April 23, 2019 Author Share Posted April 23, 2019 thanks for tip, but i can also state that i have been running for years with a ghost in my pc thanks to Corsair's under par equipment. memory creating the odd 1 bit error each weak, aslong as it was unimportant files , no problem, but you know it wasn't always unimportant files.
