Mgregg Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 When I first purchased my a7n8x deluxe, I only bought 1 stick of cmx512-2700c2. It is the xms extreme series. My MB obviously support dual channel ddr400. I believe it also support dual channel ddr333. I do notice that my current stick has a version # (xms 2702 v2.01. I want to know if I can purchase another stick of cmx512-2700c2 today and expect the dual channel to perform properly. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And, Corsair does not sell direct so they cannot sell you a part. Also, most vendors are not going to try to guarantee you a specific revision of memory so ordering would be a real hit n miss adventure. For the absolute best chance of getting a matched pair of memory to run in your MOBO, I'd suggest buying a TwinX matched pair of modules.
