phoenixgaiba
I havent been able to find any information on the compatability of Corsair products with the VIA Technologies KT400A-8235 motherboard. I purchased the Corsair CM2X512-5400C4Pro, but thememory will not fit in the motherboard slots. Please can someone recomend a quality memory, primarily for gaming, that i can put in. Thank you. Wired
That's a DDR1 chipset, while you have DDR2 memory. NOT COMPATIBLE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM.

RJLeong65
I'm sorry to say this, but with Socket A AMD platforms you should run your memory synchronously with the processor's actual FSB clockspeed. In your particular case, if you're running your Athlon XP 2400+ at stock speed, you should use only PC2100 (DDR266) memory. Running memory at a faster actual clockspeed than your processor's actual FSB clockspeed is not recommended as it increases the likelihood of stability issues.
