praseodimio
Dear guys, I recently bought a NEW Asus notebook (model A4506DLH) with 256 Mb DDR333 So-DIMM. I decided for an upgrade, bought a Corsair So-Dimm 512 Mb DDR 333 200-pin Ram module (Value Series: number VS512SDS333) and upgraded. When I use 256 Ram module plus the new one ( so the final amount is 256+512= 768 Mb) Windows Xp (Home, SP2) catch in some BSOD (actually: STOP:0X0000008E). Using only the new module causes system Boot to fail because Win Xp doesn't start at all. Tried to shift the slots, same issues. If I remove the Corsair module and use only the default Ram system is stable. What do you think? Can anyone help me? Can anyone tell me if it is a compatibility issue or a bad module? Finally, can memory timings be involved? Can you tell me if really my asus notebook is compatible with Corsair modules? Thanks in advance, I need Help. Please!!!
