thie
On a K90 keyboard that is just a few months old, the keys <Esc> (rubber dome) and <P> (Cherry MX red) no longer work, tested with both a Windows 7 and an Ubuntu 13.10 desktop. The LEDs for those keys are working just fine. Opened the case and did not notice anything strange, liquids, filth or so. It is possible/likely that this Cherry MX red has a defect? Is it relatively easy to exchanges the switches for say the <O> and <P> key to see if that is indeed the problem? (Saw a video on youtube that replaced a Cherry MX, had to be desoldered). And what could be the problem with the <Esc> key. Any ideas?
Toasted
Have you tried reflashing the keyboard's firmware?

Toasted
Try the keyboard on another computer. Do the keys still work? If no, request an RMA to replace the keyboard.
