I got everything hooked up to Corsair Link and the default mode is Multi-Rail. Why would I want Single Rail? My system config is: i9 7900X Rampage VI Extreme SLI 1080Ti STRIX OC cards 6 Corsair LL140 fans G.Skill 32Gb 3600MHz mem. Nothing overclocked, just let things speed up on their own. jeffyoung1234 Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 I am not an expert on this but...I am guessing that if your system does not draw enough power to put the power supply at 50% load to get best efficiency that cables can be moved around and switching the power supply to multi rail might put each rail or one rail closer to an optimal load.
