Chryma
SSD Toolbox 1.2 does not work it just says update failed. How can I fix this because it's the root cause of my sound popping and its driving me nuts. Windows 7 x64.

Here are my specs: http://puu.sh/cA4Oa/688ea4b0e9.png Not really, it's possible but it'll take a lot of effort I'd like to avoid if possible. Toasted
Seeings as you have a HD as well, you could switch the cables around to see if that helps. Also if AHCI is enabled, have you tried the MSAHCI drivers instead of the AMD drivers?

Also if AHCI is enabled, have you tried the MSAHCI drivers instead of the AMD drivers? How can I see if AHCI is enabled? I'm not sure. The only thing I've tried is the update tool and it doesn't work. Is there a direct link to the 5.05 firmware and some other software I can use to force it? The reason I want to upgrade the firmware is because on League of Legends, whenever I play audio from other sources, the sound goes all crackly and pops etc, apparently this should fix it. Dunno if that helps anything but it's all I am trying to achieve here and if there are other things I could try to circumvent this problem, I'd love to hear them. Yellowbeard
You should look into issues with your sound device and drivers.
Chryma
You should look into issues with your sound device and drivers. I did that first, it's all up to date. This is the only thing left to update and the only thing that won't update. It's basically my last resort.
Toasted
You can check if AHCI is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI. Does the sound issue also occur in other applications?
