coolrunning
So I am returning a 1200AX. It's rails are delivering the correct voltage which has wrecked multiple HDD's and my graphics card. It also randomly goes into a clicking frenzy and whines. The PC is 5 years almost 6 years old. So I am not too worried about the loss. Infact I'm building a new one. Ryzen 1700x. 1800 GTX Hybrid. Samsung 960 EVO. 3200MHZ RAM. Corsair 115i. Going to throw around 2500 CDN worth of parts into it. So I need to be able to trust the voltages. Corsair has been top notch and agreed to process the RMA but I have a couple of questions. 1) What are the differences between the 1200AX and 1200axi? 2) I was told it was on backorder when will it be available (it's already been a week)? 3) Does receiving a 1200axi extend the warranty by three years? Lightningblade
1. "i" stands for thier interface (connector) for thier software to monitor your voltages and stuff.
Administrators Technobeard Posted April 20, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 20, 2017 2. This was answered on your ticket. 3. No, your warranty does not get extended. The warranty states: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/warranty Any repaired or replacement hardware will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is greater, or for the period of time required by local statute.
